CocoTerra Naturals is a woman-owned, Abuja based company specializing in formulating bath and body products from purely natural ingredients. All our products are handmade from scratch in our soap studio based in the heart of Abuja. Coco Botanicals is owned by Oduenyi Okonkwo a certified soap maker and a member of the Handcrafted Soap Makers Guild.

At CocoTerra Naturals, we believe that what we do is both an art and a science. We believe that skin care should be simple and enjoyable which is why all our products are made with uniquely blended fragrances, carefully selected herbs and plant oils.

Because most of our ingredients are locally sourced, when you buy our products, you are supporting a local business and impacting the businesses and lives of hundreds of other small businesses along our supply value chain.

Locally Sourced

Majority of ingredients we use in our formulations are sourced from local farmers, women collective, suppliers and small businesses. We believe that by buying local, we can contribute to stimulating our local economy and helping businesses like ours grow. We also believe that meaningful work is only achieved when we empower people and change lives.

Full Disclosure

We know that like us most of our customers choose natural products because they are health conscious and want to take control over what they use on their skin. By declaring all our ingredients, we empower our customers with information and knowledge of the products they choose to use.

Sustainable Consumption & Production

We believe that it is our moral responsibility to leave the earth better for future generations, and we can do this through our consumption choices and how we choose to produce. Bearing in mind the paucity of local sustainable alternatives for packaging our products, we are committed to phase out packaging choices that contribute to environmental pollution. It’s a journey and we are constantly working towards becoming carbon neutral. In the meantime, we encourage recycling as much as possible. Our concern for the environment informs our commitment to seeking packaging choices, sustainable production practices in the different facets of our business. We use eco-friendly packaging where possible or recycled/recyclable materials. By using as little packaging as possible we help our customers reduce their carbon footprint.

Natural & Organic

As much as possible we use organic ingredients. All our products are made from natural ingredients that are safe. Each batch is made from scratch never from pre-made bases. All our products are free from harmful chemicals that are common in most commercially manufactured skin care products.

Social Responsibility

At CocoTerra Naturals we believe that it’s our social responsibility to give back to our community. As a women owned brand, we are keen to support gender equality and inclusion. CocoTerra contributes a portion of its revenue and time to providing adult literacy and economic empowerment programs to women in low-income communities.
